armed forces of India which operated by the Government of India through the Ministry of
Defence. The Indian Navy is a well-equipped and adamant three-dimensional force to serve
the nation, capable of caring above, on and beneath the surface of oceans calmly and also
enjoy the pride of serving the country. Despite being searching for other jobs, the Indian
Navy jobs provides endless opportunities to change life overall and forever. Its gives

and status in society. Indian Navy recruitment (Nausena Bharti) available
for various posts (Officer Entry, Sailor Entry and Women Entry).
Officer Entry: Under Officer Entry, we have 5 types of vacancies. They are:
1) Executive officer where one can exercise command of ships, submarines, and aircraft.
2) Engineer officer where one will be responsible for keeping all the Hi-tech systems serviceable
and to keep abreast of modern developments. 3) Electrical officer would include a majority
of either computer-based or computer aided and incorporates the latest trends in electronics
engineering. 4) Education Officer which give the training
of naval officers/sailors including theoretical aspects of technical subjects of all branches
of the navy. 5) Medical Officer which includes the Doctors
in Short Service Commission and Permanent Commission.
Sailor Entry: Under Sailor Entry it categories 6 types of jobs. They are:
1) Executive Branch: As the executive branch in sailor entry, need to be involved with
operating the navigational systems, communication sets, diving equipment etc.
2) Aviation Branch: These are the professionals who have the responsibility for support and
maintenance of all electrical, electronics and weapons equipment of the Navy.
3) Engineering Branch: As an Engineering sailor who would operate and learn to keep all the
equipment serviceable. 4) Submarine Branch: These jobs are challenging
of operating below the surface of the oceans in the highly technical, powerful submarines-
join this elite branch. 5) Electrical Branch: As an electrical sailor
one will have the responsibility for upkeep and maintenance of all electrical, electronics
and weapons equipment of the Navy. 6) Medical Branch: These are the professionals
who are accomplished in a wide range of medical skills to care for the sick and the injured.
Women Entry: Women are granted Short Service Commission (SSC) in Naval Architect, Law,
Logistics, ATC, Aviation (Observer) & Education Branches. The government has also given approval
for Permanent Commission (PC) in Education, Law and Naval Architect branch on completion
of SSC tenure depending upon merit and vacancy. The General Selection process for Indian Navy
recruitments is through 10 + 2 NDA / Indian Naval Academy cadet entry and CDSE (Graduate)
entry is through a written examination conducted by the UPSC, followed by an interview by the
Service Selection Board (SSB). The eligibility criteria of join Indian Navy is the maximum
age of 25 years and graduate with minimum 60% marks from the recognized university.

The Navy recruitment usually contains written test, physical test, medical test and personal

  2. Eye sight condition for TES entry : A candidates should be able to read 6/6 in a distant vision chart with each eye, with or without glasses. Myopia should not be more than 2.5 D and hypemetropia not more than 3.5 D including Astigmatism. Internal examination of the eye will be done by means of opthalmoscope to rule out any disease of the eye.
